What IS it about
Covent Garden?

All the standard stuff on any of the area sites – including ours – has been said time and time over. Even the variations have become standard and familiar. (well you know how we all love familiarity).

On a blog though, you can be forgiven for originality. This blog is going to be about what's been seen and heard at mobile level.... street level.

After all it is a street site.

We’re having a Field Day – this is a call for help

on Sep 23

We need the help of anyone who knows the area of our map or lives there.

We are playing within the field of the Main Map.

As we invite more people to place a TopSpot over their exact building on our new Main map, we can’t help suggesting events and ideas along the way.

So we have had some field days quick-chatting new outrageous ideas with fun built in.  We have a whole year ahead of relentlessly supporting and promoting our selections.  And we are already finding the grounding for a specialised network on the ground and talked about on the Net – the ultimate power network.

What we are launching on the first of October is a year long project that is pretty vast in what we emphasise we have selected adding new places all the time.  We make this site for visitors’ enjoyment because we all want a wider audience to appreciate all the spots and the map they rode in on.

Small or large, old or new they are all Top in some, and often many respects.

That’s why we call the TopSpots. We may be missing some gems. Do you know any?

And that goes for every one on the Map which we expect to be actively appreciated – we all put them there.

The mix of selected buildings and the people inside them can be like opening a book on the year in the life of…. the places on the streets you are about to walk along. The pages and articles will be a classic illustrated journal style. Very individual as are each of the people on the map.

We are playing in the whole field – or that’s what we would like to think. We don’t know as much about the area as the natives so we are asking for help.

Are you a native? That is do you have a shop, office, restaurant or gallery or anything ON the map?

Do you know of any shops or services or additional information that you believe should be there? Can you see an glaring omissions?  (Well yes, we know of a few we are adding as fast as we can go)

Please talk to us – we want to know. (comment below you will get a map in the post)
