A classic viewing of all the Theatreland play houses by night. The authentic commentary, by Ben Shafik - a player himself - gives an authentic feel to the West End's theatres - and is backed by real music.
Next version will be more upbeat as, suggested, to celebrate Britannia's unbeatable heritage.
(Over 6000 viewings and all good reviews to date).

A note from the author

I took these pictures to show off London theatres as they are seen -most often - by theatre goers, at night.

Thanks to Ben Shafik for his lighthearted and informative commentary and Fionn O'Lochlainn for the original music.

Watch out for the new version with current liveries and the names of the theatres as they appear.

Ghost The MusicalNominated for an Academy Award for Best Film of 1990, GHOST won numerous awards worldwide and is one of the highest box office earners in the UK. It starred Patrick Swayze, Demi Moore, Tony Goldwyn and Whoopi Goldberg and was directed by Jerry Zucker.

They say nowadays - even in scientific circles- that the energy aspect of us humans hangs around for a little while - or in the case of Sam and Molly - as long as it takes to deliver that communication that so needs to be heard.

Ghost the MusicalLove, per se, has that timeless presence which made Sam want to save Molly from harm. He knew where the danger lurked and he thought telling her about it would cause her to avert it. Adding dance and song to the play offers a whole new dimension because in the end music is the food of love.

It is a very beguiling scenario spinning out the love they held for each other through the tragedy of his murder one dark night, as they were walking back home.

Ghost the MusicalShe is aware of Sam, in some sense - that feeling, she thought of as a natural yearning for the past.

Sam's energy was delayed in passing over, as it''s politely put these days. His passion lives after his body is gone to dust. He, as a ghost, is impotent as he tries to seek her attention and at the same time alleviate her pain.

Seeing her danger he purloins the attention of a casual shopfront psychic, Oda Mae Brown. His attempts to communicate with her and the antics surrounding the players is a story in itself.

Ghost the MusicalA 'worth seeing' play - sorry a musical - actually a play with good music.

It has an appropriately longish run time so best book decent seats - this play is best seen free from posts and crisps. Essential logistics when booking a night out.

Forgive blatant links - we try to make it easier. This goes through straight to simple, clear booking for this play.
